AJ : Born on June 6, 1991. He is better known as AJ, and is the second addition to the group after Alexander and Kibum's departure from the group. AJ is fluent in Korean and English as he went to an international school in Korea. Formerly he was the youngest member of the group Paran. Due to the other members leaving for the army or pursuing solo activities, the group virtually disbanded, with no formal announcement. He currently goes to Columbia University. AJ is the lead rapper, vocalist, and dancer in U-KISS. AJ was admitted at Columbia University of United States in 2011 falling within the 1% top students in the world. It was made announced on July 29, 2012 in their Japanese Live Tour that AJ will be in hiatus for 5 months and will no longer attend activities of U-KISS starting August to concentrate with his studies. According to NH Media, AJ will return in early 2013

Minho : the main rapper and sub-vocalist of the group. He was born on December 9, 1991 and raised in Incheon. Minho has also written several raps in SHINee's songs. He was discovered at the 2006 S.M. Casting System. Before debuting with Shinee, Minho modeled for Ha Sang Baek's "Seoul Collection F/W 08-09" in March. He has appeared in Girls' Generation's music video "Gee" and featured in VNT's debut music video, "Sound". Minho is also a permanent cast member in KBS's Dream Team Season 2. He also debuted as an actor on November 20, 2010 in a KBS Drama Special, entitled Pianist. Minho will be taking on a comedic acting role in SBS‘s new sitcom, Salamander Guru and the Shadows. Minho was confirmed to be the lead role, alongside f(x)'s Sulli and Lee Hyun Woo, for the Korean drama "To The Beautiful You", a Korean version of "Hana Kimi"
